Instead of selling, just connect based on relevance:

"Hi [Name], saw we're both in the [Industry] space. I've been posting about [Topic] lately and thought it might be relevant. Would love to connect."

The Follow-up

Once they accept, DO NOT PITCH immediately. Wait. Engage with one of their posts. Then, start a conversation about a specific problem they might be facing.
